For now, we’re teaching online, with classes offered via Zoom. All classes are listed as “Zoom Classes With [teacher’s name]”.
Zoom is free software, which is also free to use. If using a laptop or desktop computer to participate in classes, you can download from their website at zoom.us It’s also available as a phone app.
When bylaws allow, we’ll open up outdoor park music classes again. If your child is enrolled in a Zoom class when we make this change, you will be welcome to switch over. We will notify families in a Zoom class first, of outdoor class enrollment.
Tips for Making The Most of Zoom Classes
- Have a routine! Before your Zoom classes, get ready for them together with your child. Some suggestions: have your child find rhythm instruments*** and bring them to the space where you will watch. Put a blanket or stuffies on the floor to be ready to sing
- Participate with your child! Our Zoom classes are not a television show. Just like our regular in-person classes, both you and your child will get the most out of the experience if you are singing and paying attention, along with them
- Listen to our music outside of class! Early enrollment comes with a Free CD (you may still have a credit to redeem – check your account) and our music is also all on Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Prime and many other platforms.
