Rainbow Dance^TM for Children (4-6 years)

In this class, the four elements of dance (movement, space, time and energy) will be further explored and the children's memory skills will be stimulated. More complicated movement patterns will be introduced through fun group and partner activities and these movements will be tied together to create small dance routines. Your child will have the opportunity to listen to music from around the world and find their own unique way of moving their bodies and improvising as well as learning how to mirror and imitate the teacher's and their peers' movements in a playful way using props such as; beanbags, hoola hoops, streamers, scarves, body bells, parachutes and balls.

For this class, participation of parents/caregivers is strongly encouraged, but a drop-off is optional. We believe there is a huge benefit to both parent/caregiver and child when both participate in the class. Watching or chatting from the side is not permitted. There is a maximum of 10 children per class.

Sibling Policy for Rainbow Dance^TM Classes: Our Rainbow Dance^TM programs are designed for parents and caregivers to fully participate in the class with their child. Babies who are not yet 12 months may come to the class free of charge, as long as they are in a carrier or quietly sleeping at the side. Once your baby is 12 months, they must be enrolled in the class but will receive a 25% sibling discount.
It is not permitted to sit on the side of the class with your baby while your older child participates in the class alone. If your baby is in need of attention and prohibiting your participation with your older child in the class, you must leave the class with both children. We must adhere to this policy to ensure maximum enjoyment for all participants in the class.
