Terms and Conditions of Enrollment

Enrollment in any Rainbow Songs® program is subject to our terms and conditions. Please ensure that you have read and understand the following before enrolling your child. Please be sure to contact us if you have any questions.

Enrollment
Our enrollment is on a first-come first-served basis. You are welcome to enroll for any session at any time. By enrolling early you will secure a spot, as classes often fill long before our starting dates.
Please view our schedule online. Once you have chosen a class, please contact our office by phone 416.535.5247 or email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) to enroll.

Enrolling another person or “holding a spot” is not permitted.

Payment
Upon enrollment, we will need to process your payment to secure your spot. Preferred payment is by Visa or Mastercard over the phone, or you may pay by mailing a current cheque to our office. Please note that we do not accept cheques in class. Cheques can be made payable to:

If we do not receive your payment within one week from your date of enrollment, you will be de-enrolled from the class.

Cost
The cost for Rainbow Songs® classes is $16.00 per class when enrolling in an entire session. If a class is not full, you may join that class after its start date and pay a prorated cost of $16.00 per class for the remaining classes in a session.

Drop –In Classes
To come to one class as a drop-in (space permitting), the cost is $20.00. Please call our office beforehand to book a Drop-In. We will issue you a Confirmation Number to bring to the instructor at the beginning of class.

Siblings attending the same class receive a 25% discount on the second registration.

Very young babies sleeping in car seats or strollers can come to older siblings classes for free. By the time they reach 5 months they must be registered to attend their sibling’s class, but will receive a 25% discount.

Refunds
If you withdraw from a class, your refund will total the cost of the remaining classes minus a $25.00 administration fee.

If you wish to de-enroll and hold the remaining lessons in credit on your file, you will not be charged an administration fee. Your credit on file may be used toward any future lessons, CDs, or instruments Rainbow Songs® sells.

NSF Cheques
Rainbow Songs® will charge a $20.00 administration fee for any NSF cheques.

Cancellation
Rainbow Songs® reserves the right to cancel or postpone any program due to low enrollment, facility cancellation, instructor illness, etc. Full refunds will be given to registrants due to cancellation of a program prior to or after commencement.

Capacity
Rainbow Songs® enrolls up to a maximum of 12 children per standard class.

Rainbow Dance^TM classes enroll a maximum of 10.

Requirements
You are not required to bring anything to regular music classes. For our Rainbow Dance^TM classes, we ask that you have your child either in bare feet, or slippers with a grip sole (such as Robeez or dance shoes).

Participation of Caregivers
The participation of parents and caregivers in Rainbow Songs® programs is an extremely important part of the success of the classes. Parent or caregiver participation is a requirement of your child’s enrollment. You may not drop your child off at any of our classes.

It is important that you participate and refrain from socializing with other parents or caregivers during the classes.  

Makeup Classes
You may take two makeup classes per session. Make up classes may only be taken after the first two weeks of classes have passed. Because most of our classes run close to or at capacity, we need to have the ability to track where and when people are taking makeup classes.

The following procedure MUST be followed to do makeup classes:

1. Please check our schedule online to see which time and location would be suitable for your makeup class. (We allow one participant to do a makeup class in a full class.)
2. After you book your makeup class, an email voucher will be sent to you with your Makeup Class Confirmation Number, the time and date of your makeup class, and directions to the location.
3. Please print your email voucher, bring it to class and present it to the instructor. If you do not have access to a printer, you may write down your Makeup Class Confirmation Number and bring it to the instructor at the beginning of class. If you do not have an email address, your Confirmation Number can be given to you over the phone.

If you do not bring your printed voucher or Makeup Class Confirmation Number, you will not be permitted to take your makeup class.

Missed classes from past sessions cannot be applied to present or future sessions.

Sickness Policy
If your child has a fever, a rash, is vomiting, or has pink eye, please do not bring them to class. These are the signs that your child is probably contagious and could infect other people in the class. If your child does have any of the aforementioned symptoms, you should visit your doctor and they will tell you when it would be safe to be around other kids. Participants should also follow good hand-washing protocols and wash their hands after contact with other people. If these simple protocols are followed there is little risk of infections spreading.

Behaviour Code
Rainbow Songs® classes are designed as inclusive environments where people of all kinds come together to make music.

1) Verbal or Physical abuse of any kind during, before, or after classes will not be tolerated and can be grounds for de-enrollment.

2) If your child is continually disruptive and interferes with the enjoyment of the classes for other participants, they may be de-enrolled from the class.

3) Rainbow Songs Inc. reserves the right to cancel an enrollment or class at any time due to inappropriate behaviour of participants.

4) Rainbow Songs Inc. reserves the right to cancel an enrollment or class for any reason it sees fit and to issue a refund.

Privacy and Security
Rainbow Songs® collects personally identifiable information from you when you enroll in any of our classes or purchase items from our store. This information may include your name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, credit card number, and your child's date of birth. We collect this information to ensure expedient service in future enrollments, and to keep you informed of enrollment confirmations, class start dates and other important information. This information is kept strictly confidential and is never shared.

Changes to Policy
Rainbow Songs® reserves the right to change, modify, or amend this policy at any time at its sole discretion. We will post any changes here.
