Terms and Conditions of Enrollment
Enrollment in any Rainbow Songs® program is subject to our terms and conditions. Please ensure that you have read and understand the following before enrolling your child. Please be sure to contact us if you have any questions.
Enrollment
Our enrollment is on a first-come first-served basis. You are welcome to enroll for any session available on our online booking system at any time. By enrolling early you will secure a spot, as classes often fill up long before our starting dates. Session schedules and class availability can also be found at our online booking system.
Payment
Upon enrollment, payment information will need to be provided to secure your spot. Preferred payment is by Visa or Mastercard.
Should you choose to pay by cheque, cheques must be made out to "Rainbow Songs Inc." (indicating preferred class) and forwarded directly to our office at:

No spot will be held for your child until your cheque has been received at the Rainbow Songs office and it is the responsibility of the registrant to ensure payment (in full) is submitted and received. Please note that we do not accept cheques in class.
Cost
The cost for Rainbow Songs® classes is $19.00 per class *$20.00 as of Summer 2013* when enrolling in an entire session. If a class is not full, you may join that class after its start date and pay a prorated cost of $19.00 per class *$20.00 as of Summer 2013* for the remaining classes in a session.
Drop –In Classes
To come to one class as a drop-in (space permitting), the cost is $25.00. Please call our office at least 24hrs beforehand to book a Drop-In and submit credit card information to secure this spot, payment will not be accepted at Rainbow Songs classes. Upon booking and payment, we will issue you a Confirmation Number (via e-mail) to bring to the instructor at the beginning of class. Siblings attending the same class receive a 25% discount on the second registration.
Very young babies sleeping in car seats or strollers can come to older sibling's classes for free. By the time they reach 5 months they must be registered to attend their sibling’s class, but will receive a 25% discount.
Refunds
If you withdraw from a class, your refund will total the cost of the remaining classes in the session minus a $25.00 administration fee and will be applied to the credit card originally used for payment.
If you wish to de-enroll and hold the remaining lessons in credit on your file, you will not be charged an administration fee. Your credit on file may be used toward any future lessons, birthday parties, CDs, or instruments Rainbow Songs® sells.
NSF Cheques
Rainbow Songs® will charge a $35.00 administration fee for any NSF cheques.
Cancellation
Rainbow Songs® reserves the right to cancel or postpone any program due to low enrollment, facility cancellation, instructor illness, etc. Full refunds will be given to registrants due to cancellation of a program prior to or after commencement.
Capacity
Rainbow Songs® enrolls up to a maximum of 13 children per standard class.
Requirements
You are not required to bring anything to regular music classes.
Participation of Caregivers
The participation of parents and caregivers in Rainbow Songs® programs is an extremely important part of the success of the classes. Parent or caregiver participation is a requirement of your child’s enrollment. You may not drop your child off at any of our classes.
It is important that you participate and refrain from socializing with other parents or caregivers during the classes.
Snack Policy
We understand that sometimes your child may need a small snack during class time. We ask that out of respect for the safety and enjoyment of other participants in the class you remove yourself from the circle or class space if you need to feed your child.
Cellphone & Camera Policy
While we all love our gadgets, Rainbow Songs is not the place for them. We require that you turn your cell phones off and leave all cameras and video cameras at home in order to respect the privacy and enjoyment of others in your class.
We understand that sometimes it's necessary to remain reachable even during music class, in which case we ask that you keep your cell phone on vibrate and leave the class room to answer those important calls. If you have to receive a call, please step outside with your child and return when you are finished.
Makeup Classes
You may take three makeup classes per session, which must be used in the same session in which the scheduled class(es) are missed.
As most of our classes run close to or at capacity you must obtain a Make-Up Confirmation from our online booking system before you can attend a make-up class. To obtain this confirmation information, sign into your account and click on the "Book a Makeup" button and you will be able to select the class(es) you would like to attend. Please ensure that you print the confirmation e-mail you receive or have the confirmation number available for the instructor prior to your make-up class.
If you do not bring your printed voucher or Makeup Class Confirmation Number, you will not be permitted to take your makeup class.
Missed classes from past sessions cannot be applied to present or future sessions. No exceptions.
Sickness Policy
If your child has a fever, a rash, is vomiting, or has pink eye, please do not bring them to class. These are the signs that your child is probably contagious and could infect other people in the class. If your child does have any of the aforementioned symptoms, you should visit your doctor and they will tell you when it would be safe to be around other kids. Participants should also follow good hand-washing protocols and wash their hands after contact with other people. If these simple protocols are followed there is little risk of infections spreading.
Behaviour Code
Rainbow Songs® classes are designed as inclusive environments where people of all kinds come together to make music.
1) Verbal or Physical abuse of any kind during, before, or after classes will not be tolerated and can be grounds for de-enrollment.
2) If your child is continually disruptive and interferes with the enjoyment of the classes for other participants, they may be de-enrolled from the class.
3) Rainbow Songs Inc. reserves the right to cancel an enrollment or class at any time due to inappropriate behaviour of participants.
4) Rainbow Songs Inc. reserves the right to cancel an enrollment or class for any reason it sees fit and to issue a refund.
Privacy and Security
Rainbow Songs® collects personally identifiable information from you when you enroll in any of our classes or purchase items from our store. This information may include your name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number, credit card number, and your child's date of birth. We collect this information to ensure expedient service in future enrollments, and to keep you informed of enrollment confirmations, class start dates and other important information. Changes to Policy
Rainbow Songs® reserves the right to change, modify, or amend this policy at any time at its sole discretion. We will post any changes here.
